Monstera adansonii
This iconic houseplant is the smaller cousin to the famous Monstera deliciosa, but has smaller leaves and a more vining growth pattern. Just like its big cousin, the Monstera adansonii naturally grows in the rainforests of Central & South America, and develops fenestrations, or holes in the leaves, so that the heavy rainfall can drop straight through the leaves without breaking them.
The swiss cheese plant loves bright indirect light and well-draining tropical soil. Let the soil dry out about 75% or more before giving this plant a good thorough watering again. Its ability to thrive in many conditions makes it an easy and beginner-friendly plant, so you can keep it in medium indirect light as well -- but brighter light will encourage bigger, lusher leaves and more rapid growth.
Pro tip: Place this plant in a bright bathroom window with indirect light to mimic its natural humid habitat, and watch it grow even faster!
